## What We Do

Trybus Solutions designs, deploys and supports the technology employees use to get through a working day: identity and sign-on, the computers people work on, the platforms they work in, the service desk they raise a ticket with, and the screens in shared spaces.

Most of this work starts for a familiar reason. A fleet has aged past what the current operating system will run on. A merger has left two directories and two of every tool. A renewal has forced somebody to count what is in use.

Our clients usually have their own IT team. We are there for the parts that need people who have done this before, and to carry the volume a rollout creates. Calling, meetings, contact center and meeting room technology sit on our collaboration page.

## Why Clients Bring Us In

[Start a conversation](https://trybussolutions.com/contact-us/?service_solution=digital-workplace)

- **We are not tied to one manufacturer.** We carry a range of technology partners, so what we recommend is not decided by what we happen to sell. If the fleet you have has good years left, we will say so.
- **We have done the rollouts.** Our engineers have built and moved device estates across a lot of sites and industries. Much of that is knowing which questions to ask before they become a queue at the service desk.
- **Identity, devices and tooling get looked at together.** How somebody signs in, what their computer is allowed to do and which applications they get are one conversation. Splitting them across suppliers is where gaps open up.
- **We go looking for the awkward material.** Shared logins, service accounts nobody owns, contractor identities, printers, and licenses still assigned to people who left. This is what slows a rollout down, so we work through it early.
- **Design and procurement in one place.** We can set the standard and supply the hardware and licensing against it, and our procurement can work with your purchasing system rather than sitting outside it.
- **We are still there after go-live.** Support is available as a separate agreement. Plenty of clients keep their own team and use us only for the project.

## What You Get

Scope varies. Four hundred seats in one building does not need the documentation that six thousand across forty sites needs. Below is what we produce on a typical mid-size project, and we agree which of it you need during scoping.

Everything we produce is yours. If you take the design elsewhere to be built, it will be complete enough for somebody else to build it.

- **Assessment of the current environment:** Device inventory by age, model and warranty, directory and group structure, and what licensing is owned against what is assigned.
- **Requirements document:** What people need to be able to do, what regulation requires, and the budget and timeline it has to fit.
- **Recommendation and options:** What we suggest, what else was considered, and the reasoning, written so it can go to a board without an engineer to translate it.
- **Identity and access design:** Directory and group structure, sign-in policy, and how an account is created, changed and closed.
- **Device standard and build:** Which model suits which role, how a machine is built and enrolled, and how it stays patched.
- **Bill of materials:** Hardware, licensing and services itemized, so procurement is working from real numbers.
- **Rollout plan and schedule:** Waves by site or department, dependencies, loan stock, and who is responsible for what in each wave.
- **Test plan and acceptance criteria:** What has to work before a wave is signed off, agreed at the start so sign-off is a check rather than a negotiation.
- **End-user communication and training material:** What people are told, when, and what they are given to read. Most first-week tickets come from a rollout that surprised somebody.
- **As-built documentation and handover pack:** What was built, how it is configured, and what your team needs to run it.

## The Systems We Work On

Six areas. Most projects touch three or four of them, and identity is almost always one.

### Identity and Access for the Workforce

Directory and group structure, single sign-on, multi-factor enrollment, and how everyday applications connect into it. Most organizations have two or three places an identity can be created, which is why nobody can answer who has access to what. Hardening the policy itself is work our security team runs.

### Joiners, Movers and Leavers

How a new starter gets an account, a computer and the access their role needs without somebody keying the same details in three times, and how all of it comes back when they leave. Automating this is usually the quickest return in a workplace project.

### The Device Fleet

Device standards by role, build and enrollment, application packaging, patching, and the refresh or lease cycle underneath. An estate carrying three models is cheaper to support than one carrying fifteen. We also plan for what comes out the other end: wiping, disposal or trade-in, and spare stock.

### Productivity and Content Platforms

The suite people write in, the place files live, and the tools bolted on around them. The work is usually moving content off aging file servers and personal drives, cleaning up licensing that grew one renewal at a time, and setting sharing and retention deliberately.

### Service Desk Tooling and Self-service

Ticketing and asset tooling configured around how your organization works: the request catalog, the forms, approval routing, asset records tied back to the device inventory, and a knowledge base people can find. Self-service password reset and automated request fulfilment take the highest-volume work off the queue. Running the desk itself is a separate agreement.

### Digital Signage and Shared Spaces

Screens in lobbies, production floors and break rooms, and the shared computers in places where several people use one machine across a shift. The work is settling on a display and player standard, deciding who owns the content, and sorting the mounting, power and network drops.

## How a Project Runs

Broadly the same shape whether it is four hundred people or six thousand. Timescales depend on the size of the estate, hardware lead times and how much of your team is available.

- **Scoping and kickoff:** Agree what is in scope, the deliverables, who is involved on both sides and how decisions get made. This is where we set the change process.
- **Discovery:** Sessions with the people who run the environment now, plus inventory pulled from the live systems. Discovery usually turns something up. When it changes the scope, we price it and you decide before we carry on.
- **Design and review:** The device standard, the identity model and the rollout approach documented, then walked through with your team. Sign-off here is what the build gets measured against.
- **Procurement and staging:** Hardware and licensing ordered, then built, enrolled and asset tagged before anything reaches a user. Lead times are the usual reason a date moves.
- **Pilot:** A department or a single site goes first, with a way back if it does not go well. On a small refresh this stage often costs more time than it saves, and we will say so.
- **Rollout:** Wave by wave, with people on the ground for the first day of each one. The first two waves are where the plan gets corrected.
- **Punch list and handover:** Closer support while the snags come out, then documentation, training for your team, and a decision about the equipment and accounts left behind.

## What Is Quoted Separately

Most of what is below is work we do. It is not part of a digital workplace project by default, because each piece carries its own scope, its own schedule and its own cost. If you want any of it included, say so at scoping and we will quote it in.

- [Calling, meetings and meeting room technology. Phone systems, contact center and the equipment inside rooms are their own practice with their own schedule. Where the two overlap, we run two scopes against one plan.](https://trybussolutions.com/collaboration-unified-communications/)
- [Security policy, identity hardening and compliance evidence. Access policy, privileged accounts, endpoint security tooling and the evidence an auditor asks for are engagements our security and compliance teams run. Here we build to the requirements already set.](https://trybussolutions.com/cybersecurity/)
- [Ongoing operation and the service desk. Managed services is a separate agreement with its own service levels. Some clients run the estate themselves after handover and some hand it to us. Either is fine.](https://trybussolutions.com/managed-services-and-support/)
- [Structured cabling and pathways. We do not pull cable ourselves. We survey what is there, specify the pathways, containment and links the design needs, and bring in the cabling partners we work with to install it against that specification. It is quoted on its own because it runs to a different schedule from the platform work, and in occupied buildings it usually happens in the evenings.](https://trybussolutions.com/networking-connectivity/)
- [Custom development and integration. We build integrations that go past documented connectors, most often between service management, human resources and identity systems. That work gets its own scope and testing.](https://trybussolutions.com/architecture-solution-design/)
- [Servers, storage and cloud platforms. The platforms the applications themselves run on are scoped by our infrastructure practice. Replacing the computers on desks does not quietly include re-architecting what sits behind them.](https://trybussolutions.com/cloud-and-infrastructure/)

## Industries We Work In

The technology does not change much between sectors. What people need from it on a Monday morning does.

### [Healthcare →](https://trybussolutions.com/healthcare/)

Workstations shared by several people in a shift, fast sign-on at the point of care, and device rules that follow patient data.

### [Public Sector →](https://trybussolutions.com/public-sector/)

Procurement rules, records retention, public counters and kiosks, and refresh cycles tied to when funding is appropriated.

### [Tribal Government and Enterprises →](https://trybussolutions.com/tribal-organization/)

Sovereignty over data and directories, funding cycles that do not follow a commercial year, and estates spanning government, health, education and gaming.

### [Financial Services →](https://trybussolutions.com/financial-services/)

Evidence that access was granted and removed when it should have been, and control over what can leave a device.

### [Education →](https://trybussolutions.com/education/)

Staff and student identities that behave differently, large device counts against tight budgets, and rollouts timed to the academic year.

### [Retail →](https://trybussolutions.com/retail/)

Many small sites with little or no local IT, high turnover in store teams, and shared devices that work without an engineer nearby.

### [Enterprise →](https://trybussolutions.com/enterprise/)

Multi-site estates at different stages of modernization, often carrying two directories and duplicate tooling from an acquisition.

## Technology We Work With

We hold partner relationships across the technology industry, and our engineers also work in platforms we do not sell. A workplace project starts on whatever you are running now, whoever supplied it.

We do not publish comparisons between manufacturers. Which platform suits an organization is something an assessment works out, not something a website should decide.

## Talk to Us About a Project

Tell us how many people you support, how many sites, how old the fleet is and what date is driving the timeline. We will tell you what needs doing and what does not, and put a scope and a number against it.
